Casa de las Puertas is a newly remodeled, two bedroom/two bathroom home located just around the corner from Merida’s new restaurant row and a short stroll from the famous Paseo de Montejo. Filled with artworks from the owner’s private collection, all rooms are bathed in indirect light and have views to the pool, the terrace and the tile covered tejeban.
Although it is not a large house, Las Puertas feels and lives large because of the double high ceiling and open layout. Enjoy its roominess and comfort. If you love to cook , this should certainly be your first choice as the kitchen is amazing. Large refrigerator/freezer, double sinks, large gas stove, quartz counter tops and lots of space for everyone to help the cook or enjoy a glass of wine while dinner is cooking.
The home works very well for two couples since the bedrooms are on separate floors and very private from one another, each with its own en suite full bath. The upstairs master has a sitting/TV room which can be separated from the bedroom by sliding doors for privacy if needed. The entire house faces the pool and garden and the eight arched, glass doors bring the view, light and air to all parts of the home.
