Keith has been selling real estate in Merida since 2003. He’s a current member of AMPI, the Mexican Board of Realtors.
House Hunters International on HGTV recently filmed their fifth visit to Merida, the third episode to feature him. The buyers in all episodes are now living in Merida and loving it.
Keith has used his knowledge to produce a series of videos in conjunction with Yucatan Today featuring the unique neighborhoods and homes of Merida, which can be seen in our Media section.
One visit to Merida was all it took for Keith and his longtime partner David Sterling to fall in love with Yucatan’s tropical climate, rich Mayan history, stately Spanish Colonial architecture, tempting local cuisine and delightfully friendly and genuine local people… a big and welcome change from their lives in Manhattan.
They bought a grand old Spanish colonial home in Mérida’s centro histórico in 2002, and turned it from a decrepit, abandoned dump with good bones into their “showplace” home which is now featured in popular books and magazines on fine Mexican design. Their amazing and enjoyable process spurred them on to open a branch of their New York based company Worldstudio International Design Services. A number of Keith’s real estate clients loved his design work so much they went on to become his clients as well, realizing their own dreams for a unique Merida home.
Keith’s lifelong interest in exquisite homes dovetails perfectly with his work as a top real estate salesperson, with his design work, and as the longtime leader of the Merida House & Garden Tours. This has also given him excellent credibility in our community as the “go-to” person for quality properties with history and charm.
Let Keith loose with your Merida home search… you’ll be glad you did!
